Adjunct Professor
From an early age, Dr. Goodwin dreamed of obtaining a Doctorate degree and becoming a college professor. As a result of her heard work and dedication to this goal, Dr. Goodwin recently earned a Doctorate from Abilene Christian University, where she studied Organizational Leadership. Additionally, she received a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Operations from DeVry Institute of Technology. Dr. Goodwin recently fulfilled her dream when she accepted a position as an adjunct professor at Abilene Christian University where she excels at helping students……… . Go Wildcats!

For over twenty years Dr. Goodwin has navigated the regional, national and international stage. She counts among her greatest accomplishments mentoring and coaching others while also advocating on their behalf.
As a fearless workplace advocate, Dr. Goodwin encourages everyone to stop comparing themselves to others because their life and /or career path has not yet landed them their desired results. Instead focus on developing self-advocacy, leadership, and conflict negotiation skills that will lead to building better workplace relationships and enhanced collaboration skills.
Additionally, Dr. Goodwin is devoted to creating safe and dignified workplaces by advocating on behalf of all employees to address workplace issues, practices, and policies. This work often leads her to helping leaders create flexible workplaces that embrace everyone.
Dr. Goodwin has volunteered with The First Tee of Greater Dallas, Boy Scouts of America, and was the former Director of Dallas HR’s Workforce Readiness group where she emphasized the benefits of supporting veterans, developing transformational leaders, and reducing communication barriers between multi-generational workers.
Dr. Goodwin is making an impact on the community by being an active member of the Alliance Texas HR Group, Society for Human Resource Management, and Dallas HR. She also serves the community by being an active Board of Directors member for several for several organizations. She was recently invited to serve as the Director of Curriculum Development for a 501c3 Non-Profit organization Center of inPOWERmeant Inc., that offers hope by providing a safe place to discover profound solutions that transform the trajectory in the lives of families. Additionally, she has served on the Workforce Solutions North Central Texas Workforce Development Board since January 2017 and was recently selected to join the Executive Committee as Board Secretary. Her work on this board earned her recognition as Board Member of the Year (2022).
Dr. Goodwin continues to seek out new board opportunities that will allow her to make an impact on corporate and non-profit workplaces and the community.
